PadCAD Lite App Reviews

I had this spiffy CAD program fifteen years ago. Ran on Windows 95 or 98. Absolutely loved it; but time stands still for no developer. I was hopeful this app could be similar, but alas! It may very well be that centering a door or a window over a particular coordinate with ones finger is an impossibility without a mouse, but this app has a slider bar available for the x and y. Unfortunately, tapping another element on the screen undos all the progress. Also, there isnt a z (height) feature, so if you want to indicate smaller windows or taller walls, you have to make a separate note from the dimensional text. Also, as others have said, the exterior dimensions of the walls are displayed, not the interior, and it truly is far too easy to slide the elements around the screen accidentally, leaving all the others behind and the user painstakingly re-centering the jostled element back to its original location. I deleted this app and will search for another.

Extremely easy to use and compared to cad apps for computer much more user friendly and tons cheaper! Love Love It! 6 stars!

I am not having any trouble with this, I have been able to save, print, make changes, I really like the appliance feature. My kitchen has been so much fun to plan. $15 well spent for an ammi. If you want a professional app, you need to pay a lot more.

I was just looking for an easy app to help design a deck. This tool was not optimal to begin with, but should have been adaptable... However... When double tapping an element I saw no attributes pop up an the side of the screen. A square is not considered a single element and so could not be copied as a square. And the list goes on and on. I spent an hour with this program and got nowhere. This program is in no way intuitive, or helpful, and definitely not worth any money.

I wish I had some other commands like trim and extend, but this is not autocad. However, it is the perfect app to put my pool/cabana design on PDF. The price is worth it if you are going to use it. Its the only app Ive paid more than $5 and not disappointed. Biggest grief is not able to rotate the drawing. Im sure theyll make a few tweaks to get this app to the next level.

First I cant leave a review on the purchased app, although I have purchased. Second when inserting windows on a drawing at the top of the screen, the window will appear at the bottom of the screen on the other wall. No matter what I do, even after locking, the window moves to the bottom. Its an okay program. Just wondering if I wasted my money.

Love it. Really saves time and headache. Gives the home owner a great way to visualize how it will look.

Doors couldnt be flipped to open the other way, and only one window snapped into the wall. Measurements werent exact as it was hard just to get the walls to the exact length. Too time consuming for what it delivered. Pencil and graph paper wont look as cool but will work for my remodeling project.

Would love to have the ability to add details like electrical outlets! But overall great app!

UI is junk. Slop programming. Unusable. Dont even waste the few seconds it takes to D/L this. Im going to go look for something written better with good controls. This is not it!

Hard to use. Zoom is limited so good luck trying to make or edit small features.

This is a great app. A lot of the complaints I see in the reviews are fixable by putting a little effort into looking through the app, such as changing the background color to white, and being able to center things, etc. My only complaint is that no matter which door size you choose from 2 to 3, they all show as 3 doors. If they would fix this error in programming, I would give this app a 5 star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

its ok all I dont like is the price of the upgrade and u should not have had to beable to upgrade to save your blueprint

oh my flippin loard, how do you even work the game, like 360 no scope m8. its so frustrating bruhhhhh. it makes me wanna hit a cross map tomahawk bro. like 1080 yy reload cancel rb y no scope on fringe bruhhh!?!?
